"Really easy to jump in"
I just started playing it was easy to get going. The tutorial explained things clearly, so I didn’t feel lost, and I was able to get into matches fast, like really fast. Overall, it gave me a nice first impression.

"Support took way too long to get anywhere"
I reached out to support and expected at least some kind of useful update, but it dragged on way too long. I kept checking my inbox, even refreshing the ticket page and noticing the little status label never really changed. After all that waiting, I still didn’t get any real help, just the feeling that my issue was sitting there untouched.

"The maps make flying way more enjoyable"
I was in a relaxed mood when I played, and I ended up really noticing how much I like the map design in World of Warplanes. The mountains, cities, and open spaces all have their own feel, so the matches don’t seem repetitive. I also like that some areas give you good spots to dive around or use the terrain for cover. It makes flying feel more fun and keeps things from getting boring. Nice work on that part.

"Fun game, but the servers can be inconsistent"
I’ve been having a decent time with the game overall, but the servers are kind of hit or miss. Sometimes everything runs fine, and other times it starts lagging or drops me right in the middle of a match, which gets frustrating. It’s not bad enough to make me quit, but I do wish there were clearer instructions or info on what to do when connection issues happen.

"Premium stuff lowkey makes a difference"
I grabbed some premium time and a plane bundle, it made the grind way less of a pain. The prices could def be a little cheaper, but if you’re playing a lot, the value is solid. Not perfect or anything, but overall it feels fair enough.

"Good overall, but watch out for lag spikes"
The connection is smooth most of the time, but I did run into random lag spikes here and there. It’s not constant, but just a heads-up if you need something super reliable all the time...

"Tutorials are alright, just kinda rushed"
The tutorials did help me get started, but tbh some parts felt a little unclear and went by too fast. I had to pause and figure a few things out on my own, which was kinda frustrating.

"Pretty good tech tree, but yeah, a bit of a grind"
I mean, there’s definitely a lot to unlock, which is nice and keeps things interesting. But after a while, it can feel kind of grindy, like you’re doing the same stuff just to make a little progress. Still, if you don’t mind taking your time, it’s solid.

"A few bugs, but I still had fun"
I mean, yeah, there are definitely some bugs here and there, and they can be a little annoying. But the flying still feels really good, so I ended up having a good time overall.
"Fun dogfights, but I’m totally not annoyed by the messy parts"
When the match feels balanced, the dogfights are fun. Cutting turns, chasing someone down, and finally lining up a clean shot feels great, and I do like that some of the planes have their own feel instead of all blending together.
That said, the combat can get a little irritating, but you know, it’s fine, totally fine. Hit detection feels off sometimes, and every now and then you just get absolutely deleted before you can even figure out what happened. The controls are mostly okay, though they do get kind of clunky in moments where you really need them not to.
Overall, I’d say it’s decent for a few quick matches here and there. I’m not mad at it or anything, obviously, but the combat just doesn’t feel smooth enough to keep me coming back for very long.
"Feels empty right now"
I was expecting clearer instructions when I first jumped in, but the bigger issue is that there just don’t seem to be many players around anymore. It makes the whole thing feel kind of empty

"Fun for a bit, but I’d be careful if you’re playing free"
World of Warplanes was fun at first, and I’ll give it credit for being easy to jump into. The flying doesn’t feel too complicated, so I could just play a few matches without feeling totally lost.
After a while, though, I started to feel like free players are mostly there to grind. Better planes, upgrades, and overall progress seem to come a lot faster if you’re willing to spend money, and I’m always a little cautious when a game starts pushing that feeling too hard.
I don’t mind paying for a game here and there, but I don’t like feeling boxed in or outmatched just because I’m not spending. If you’re planning to play totally free, just protect your time and expectations, because you may end up stuck a lot and going against players who clearly have the better setup.

"Bottom line: the weapon balance feels fair"
Bottom line, I think the guns feel mostly fair overall. After playing for a while, nothing really stood out to me as insanely overpowered or totally useless, so the balance seems solid.

"Grind feels fair after work"
I’ve been playing this mostly in the evenings after work, usually after dinner when I’ve got a little time before I end up watching something random on YouTube. What I like is that the grind doesn’t feel ridiculous. You can hop in for a few matches, make some actual progress, and not feel like the game is mad at you for missing a day or two. Unlocking planes still takes time, obviously, but it doesn’t feel like taking on a second job the way some games do.

"Great WWII atmosphere, but could use clearer guidance"
I really like how the planes feel close to actual WWII aircraft, and it’s cool that each nation has its own distinct style. The historical details make the battles more enjoyable for me, even if it’s not perfect. I do wish some of the instructions were a bit clearer though, especially when figuring out certain features or mechanics.

The engines sound nice. I’m going mostly off gut feeling here, but overall it just seems good to me.

"Economy seems fair so far"
The in-game economy feels reasonable to me. I’ve seen a few other players say the same thing, and I kind of agree — you can still earn credits and work on upgrading planes without feeling like you’re stuck grinding forever. Premium definitely helps, but it doesn’t feel like the game is forcing you into it. Overall, the balance seems good

"Spoiled for Choice, Obviously"
I really like how many aircraft there are to try. Just when I think I’ve settled on one, there’s another plane sitting there tempting me like I needed more options. It’s fun always having something new to mess around with...

"Pretty chill crowd, even in the little moments"
Most nights, the players are genuinely nice. I noticed people actually answer newbie questions instead of just ignoring them, even the tiny stuff like where to find a menu option or what a weird icon means. Chat usually stays relaxed too, maybe a bit goofy, but not toxic. It makes logging in feel a lot less intimidating.

"Account setup went smoothly, honestly"
I got my account made without much hassle, which was nice because I really wasn’t in the mood to troubleshoot anything that day. The launcher installed fine too, though it did need one restart before everything behaved properly. Not a big deal, gave me an excuse to grab coffee, and then I got distracted checking the weather for some reason. Updates can be a little slow at times, but logging in works, it remembers my settings, and overall it’s been a okay experience
